The Cultural Bridge application portal will reopen from 4 January to 10 February 2027. The sixth funding round is exclusively for established partnerships between organisations from Germany and the United Kingdom that work in the field of Socioculture and have already worked together. It supports partners to develop and deliver a project in co-production with communities, thereby deepening their collaboration (Tier 2 / Funding Strand 2). Partnerships that have previously received Tier 2 funding can also apply again if they would like to continue their collaboration in new ways. Funded activities can begin no earlier than June 2027. The Cultural Bridge programme brings cultural practitioners from Germany and the United Kingdom together and supports joint projects and new forms of collaboration in the field of Socioculture and socially engaged arts. It was launched by Fonds Soziokultur in cooperation with the British Council Berlin in 2020/21, opening up a new path for international collaboration in a post-Brexit context.
